S110, between Auto and (P + auto ISO), which is best all purpose setting?
My wife likes the size and image quality of the S110, but she wants to set it and forget it. In other words she wants to turn it on and shoot. She does use the flash and can adjust it's brightness. In low light when she can't use flash and when movement is involved, I will set it for her, but that is pretty much beside the point, I guess.
Since I don't know how the camera "thinks" in Auto mode, I set it on P and auto ISO and that is working just fine, but I wonder what she may be missing by not using Auto. Another reason for using P mode is the additional Function settings, which I set up. I would guess about half her shots of are of grandkids and the rest a fairly normal variety, nothing out of the ordinary.
