I Do. Despite the obvious criticisms relating to tracking, etc, when I used phase, I never know for sure if it has focus. The accuracy of, say, the m43 cameras are so confidence inspiring and so certain its wonderful.

Why would you love it? Have you ever used a good camera with phase detection?

The accuracy of phase detect cameras are so confidence inspiring and so certain it's wonderful!

I thought that m43 cameras were introducing phase detection to speed up focussing.

Phase detection to speed up, contrast detection for greater accuracy. Mirror based PDAF can do only one or the other (although, Sony has used dual PDAF system). And when it does do PDAF, its not done on the focal plane (hence the need for AF micro adjustment but usually only available in higher end models).
