more cheating and rule breaking in Totally Tele
In the recent Totally Tele, some of the entrants altered the EXIF (in a pretty stupid way) to make their focal length fit the rules
"This challenge is open to photos taken with a short telephoto lens. This means focal lengths between 75-135mm in full frame equivalent."
This 6th place winner managed to make his zoom lens end up at exactly 135MM. A nice trick.
But when you look at the same photo in his gallery, its listed as a 300 MM shot (ha, you don't usually shoot lions at 135MM.)
At least the #2 runner up didn't hide it. 300MM FL.
The 4th place? 112MM, which is 224MM FF. But at least he was close.
The first thing I vote on is whether the image fits the rules, otherwise, what's the point?
professional cynic and contrarian: don't take it personally
