AUS technicians are awesome....

80 seals, electronics all over, 2000 parts, and a tecnician making $ 20 an hour in the USA in there?

They could do more harm than good in a complicated camera

Seems to me the only place to truly get in and out there is Japan.

For me it is to ignore it or to replace it.

Had my X-T1 light leak fixed by the awesome AUS technicians in 3 hours. I dropped off the camera as I live round the corner from them and in 3 hours they rang me to pick it up.

No more light leaks and I have my awesome X-T1 back to take pics with.

And I do do long exposures in daylight (Infrared and ND3.0 (10 stops)) with the RR-90 remote plugged in the port and the door open.
