Re: Canon SL1/hand strap

I am not sure what jcocoran uses but I use the Lowepro TLZ 2 with the neck strap off.  I attached a couple of keyrings to the bag's strap loops.  The I use a double faced velcro strap (exactly like skiers use to hold their cross country skis together when traveling) that I attach to my backpack's chest straps. These are fitted with a swivel hook that hooks into the keyrings. The TLZ 2 will easily hold the SL1 with 18-55mm and 50-250mm lenses, or Tokina 11-16mm and either the 18-55 or 50-250 lenses. I use a small piece of foam rubber between the lenses to keep from damaging them.  Instead of a second lens sometimes I'll toss in my Canon 430 flash.  This camera pack and lenses have gone many miles into the woods, deserts, Mexico and Hawaii.

PS: I just ordered the CottonCarrier handstrap.
