MFT 25mm f/1.4 fails to blur background like Full Frame 50mm lens @ f/2.8

Nope. The two pics were taken on a tripod in the exact same location. Note that the m43 "crop factor" is not precisely 2x...more like 1.85x. Also I have no idea whether the two lenses are exactly 25 & 50mm respectively. Historically Zeiss rangefinder "50s" have been around 53mm.
