Avoiding the same look

Looking back at the last 12 months of so of photos I can't help but notice all my shots tend to have a very similar look, despite different pp and different lenses.

What do people do to mix up their style and avoid it becoming flat? Do I need to invest in some different PP software beyond the LR/PP combo (ie Nik collection)?
