I'm planning to send my D600 in for shutter replacement. Anyone know how long I'll have to be without my camera?

This was my experience:

* 2/27 - Dropped off at UPS in Albuquerque, NM.

* 3/4  - Arrived at Nikon LA Repair facility.

* 3/11 - Got Email with service order number. Status: Estimate Accepted

* 3/12 - Status: Shop

* 3/17 - Status: Billing

* 3/20 - Status still "Billing", but UPS drops it off at my front door in a very well packed box -- a very happy surprise considering I thought it was still waiting to be shipped.

The invoice listed:

RPL SHUTTER MECHANISM

RELATED PARTS

CLN IMAGE SENSOR

CKD AUTO FOCUS OPERATION

CKD FLASH OPERATION

GENERAL CHECK & CLEAN

The body was indeed clean and everything looks to be in perfect working order.  They apparently tested it quite thoroughly as the shutter count advanced by 1082.

If anyone from Nikon reads this, *THANK YOU*.  I'm a very happy D600 owner and Nikon customer -- and glad to have it back.
