The only mirrorless cameras with adequate overall AF (both single and continuous AF) in comparison to DSLRs are the Nikon 1 cameras.

The OM-Ds (E-M5/M1/M10) have great static AF but they simply can't keep up with a DSLR when you need to start tracking and using continuous AF, e.g. kids playing, pets. Furthermore, they struggle with AF in lowlight and higher ISOs, and there's simply no way around this problem with those mirrorless options you've suggested unless you use flash.

You've got a 6D, I'd recommend adding a 50mm f1.8 and fast standard zoom, and getting used to carrying this kind of gear around. It can still fit in a small camera bag.
