75 f/1.8 or 35-100 f/2.8 torn between the two

a strange turn of events, not something I had planned to do (I was thinking about the 35-100 f/2.8) but the recommendations regarding the 40-150 and the 45-150 + the 75 set me thinking along those lines...

a few guys said why not buy the 75 and the 40/45-150? i.e. to go longer than the 100 and also get the 75 for portraits and low light ...

I thought about that, and yes, but decided on the more versatile 14-140 (for outdoors and travel), etc... so, that's that ...

Interesting that since I bought the 14-140 found it so good that I've been considering selling the 35-100 and buying the 75 as a fast compliment tele lens to the flexible slow zoom.
