Metering mode in exif

Hi all,

I shot a set of lacrosse photos last weekend that were all underexposed by about a stop.  I want to verify the metering mode, and the exif says "Metering mode: 5."  I can't find anywhere what the 5 value means for Nikon.  I suspect I was in spot mode or something.  Google is surprisingly not finding an answer.  Anyone know the Nikon metering modes in the exif data?
