X Vario in Vail
These were taken Saturday in Vail, Colorado. In the middle of the day, I had a fall that was serious enough to send me to the ER with a bruised right shoulder. I was carrying the XV in my ski jacket pocket, on the right side. It emerged unscathed, and was ready for a nice dinner that evening.
Just love the quality of the XV images! The landscape images tended to look a bit monochromatic, so I increased color saturation a bit in Aperture; otherwise these are OOC. I've had digital cameras struggle with white balance in snow, turning the snow either blue or yellow. Here, I think the auto WB was spot on.
