How can i get full control of settings in Samsung NX1000?

Hi Everyone,

I bought a new NX1000 and have been using an old MC 50mm on it. No matter on what mode I shoot, I always miss out on something. To explain briefly,

In Aperture mode, I cannot seem to set the shutter speed because its grayed out and I cannot select it.

In Program mode, the exposure setting is grayed out(the one from -3 to +3).

In manual mode, ISO settings is grayed out.

I cannot seem to use the shutter priority because I always get an error which says "Check Lens".

The main problem is that if i use aperture mode, the shutter speed becomes automatic and I get either very dark or very bright images. Same with program mode because the meter always goes to -3 or +3.

Is there any setting or switch where I can set both shutter speed and exposure settings?

Regards,

Khan
