75 f/1.8 or 35-100 f/2.8 torn between the two

For speed & sharpness across the frame and subject isolation the 75/1.8 Oly is much better.  For versatility (~3x zoom & OIS for video) the 35-100/2.8 is the way to go.  The 35-100/2.8 is no slouch sharpness-wise, but the 75/1.8 is a definite notch higher, especially in the corners.
