Lexar 800x cards in Nikon D800

I'm mainly a Sandisk extreme person - but recently bought a Lexar pro 800x 32Gb card - mostly due to cost but also seeing Lexar's seemingly perform better on Rob Galbreith's card tests:

However after trying it out finally (My camera was away getting repaired) the Lexar Pro 800x 32Gb (120Mb/s) seems to not perform as well as my Sandisk Extreme 32Gb 60Mb/s !

I noticed that the 800x isn't on Rob Galbreith's listing and neither are they on the Nikon US suggested card list : https://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17778/~/approved-memory-cards---d800%2F-d800e

Id there something weird with the 800x that makes them less compatible ?

Essentially my test wasn't very detail - but repeated several times was fairly conclusive - Would shoot compressed RAW on motor drive (manual eposure settings) until it stopped shooting (~4 sec on each card) and then see how long it would take for the card light to go out (from shooting start) - on the Sandisk it was ~26s on the new Lexar was about 35s!

Quite a difference.

So thinking of taking the Lexar 800x back.
