Unknow MC Zoom Lens

Hi there. I have an unknown lens. I have searched all the list of MC mount 3rd party lenses, googled "MC mount 70-300 f3.5" and spent about an hour trying to ID my lens.

The story. I found 50 mm Minolta MD mount f1.4 lens, which I thought would be ideal for my Olympus M4/3 camera. I tried to bargain, but instead of discounting the lens, they threw in an MC mount 70-300 mm zoom.

The problem is it have no manufacturers' name on it. And it doesn't come up on list of MC mount lenses, even lists of 3rd party ones.

It is a typical 80's tele, where moving the focus collar fore and aft changes the zoom and rotating it focuses the lens.

It has a diameter of 55mm.

Stopped down aperture is f32 (written in green as was typical for MD mount lenses).

It says "Macro 1:4 and 1:5' to the left of the focus distances, and it focuses left of the minimum focus distance.

Around the outside of the rim it says "No. 8605687 55 AUTO IMAGE MC ZOOM 1:5.6 f = 70 - 300 mm"

Near the base "Lens made in Japan" is written in white.

M1 is written in green right of the aperture markings on the aperture ring.

It has a typical filter mount.

It was brand new old stock.

Here is a picture of it attached to me Olympus E-PM1
