APS-C lenses are an issue

All makers offering APS-C cameras are short of a complete set of lenses dedicated to that sensor format. Possibly Pentax has the most complete set of lenses but still not at same level as FF offering from Canon or Nikon.

Nikon's lens lineup for APS-C is pathetic, beyond slow zooms and a couple of primes. I think m43 may offer the best non-FF systen at the moment, with advantage of having two companies competing for your money, and a growing 3rd party line of lenses in development.

I am thinking of dropping my Nikon apsc system, getting an FF body, and starting an m43 system for lighter shooting. The diff in IQ from apsc to m43 is actually very small, there is a good choice of bodies and lenses to choose from the latter system.
