Nikon d3300 or D5100?

Hi everybody,

Im in a process of buying my first DSLR. Im confused between Nikon D5100 and D3300.
I have been looking at the D5100 cause my friend has one, and it delivers very good image quality. The D3300 is priced 100$ more but it has the following advantages
1. Lighter Body, and better battery life.
2. Collapsible kit lens(18-55), will buy 35mm Prime next month.
3. 2014 model vs 2011 D5100.
4. Exspeed 4 Nikon processor compared to Exspeed 2(on the d5100). So, less shutter lag, and better ISO performance.
5. 24MP photos.
6. No optical low-pass filter so better and sharper pictures. But this also removes the ability to clean the soft dust from the lens which may settle in from changing lens? How important is this??
6. Also this may be the last DSLR from Nikon till 2016?

But my question is the D5100, which has the same sensor as the professional D7000, costs less but may be an outdated model. Will this have less image noise at ISO 800>ISO 1600 than the D3300? Im looking for a camera that can deliver exceptional low light photography, as well as landscape photos, and street photography. I will also be doing Macro photos, with the 35mm. My friend has the 50mm Prime lens, so we will be switching alot. Is it worth spending 100$ more for the D3300 or should I stick to older D5100? Thanks very much!
