So I took the X-Pro 1 AF to the test with the new XF 56mm f1.2 lens. Will this portrait lens with razor thin DOF work on the X-Pro 1 AF in toug situations?

I took it out to the harbour, set it to f1.2 and 1/4000 to freeze the action and tried to focus on a kid that was chasing fast flying soap bubbles.

That's a really good shot. The boy is obviously trying to catch the bubbles in his hands, and the person in the background is amused by this. It captures a moment and that's what makes the difference between a memorable shot and a forgettable one. In this case you were able to snag just the instant when the scene was at its best. And while I'm not usually a big B/W fan, it works well here.
