If you know/are sure you're eventually moving to full frame, it's not a bad strategy. But if you plan to stick with APS, it's better not to wast image circle on FE lenses.

Also, you would do well to see how the FE lenses fare on APS sensors before you make the investment as there can be many times when their performance goes down when you cross over. APS are designed to be optimal on APS, full frame are designed to be optimal on full frame. There are no promises you will get better performance on APS.
