emotional attachment to 4/3 lenses when considering upgrading

At what cost do you break up with your lenses and begin seeing younger, smaller ones? I love my mk1 40-150 on my e520 and have gotten hundreds of shots of the family which will be forever. But I'm smitten by the lure of the fast primes and less weight for m4/3, and it seems so expensive to get an em1 with mmf adapter. I've written my breakup for sale post, but it seems like a lot of equipment to replace (mk1 14-54, metz 48 af1, 40-150, filters, eye level viewer) when I only really would like to get a much better iso range (not be limited to 800) at less weight. Even if I did go m4/3 e.g. the epm2 dual lens kit, I lose out on lens speed unless I add a 45 or 25 f1.8. I'm at such a loss that it is easier to not do anything rather than chuck everything.
