Once And For All - All this "Nuts" about Focusing Speed

Relativism, my friend

In the same way that people around my city display no patience whatsover for the slightest traffic delay despite never really having experienced gridlock in their lives, people become accustomed to particular standards and everything else becomes relative.

Modern PDAF algorithms have made anything that takes >1 second to focus 'slow'; and wide monitors and the zoom function have meant that 'out of focus' refers specifically to how something appears when viewed at 100%.

Having said that, I have indeed lost shots because the AF wasn't fast enough, sadly.
