Is sony already moving on from A7/r?

SAR claims that sony is going to announce new FE mount FF cameras later this year, it's SR5.

But he also claims that they will not be A7/r replacements. Perhaps movie cameras or whatever. They will have the new autofocus system of the A6000.

Is this a first sign that sony is already moving on from A7/r? I know in a few days we will have a firmware update, but I wonder if it is going to be anything special. The firmware update for nex7 was so underwhelming after a very long wait.

I feel really torn in two by this camera: there are things I really really like about it but also things I really hate. I feel really let down by it's not being weather sealed for one, but also the paper thin raw quality, it being 11+7bit instead of real 14bits for another big letdown.

So, just wanted to vent my surprise when reading that sony will announce new FE cameras while there is so much to be done about the A7/r... Probably sony will just move on and push out new cameras instead of fixing ours. Sigh...
