does E-M1 EVF reveal blown highs prior to taking the shot?

That's one of the best features of this top mirrorless for me. I have the EVF set to 255 for highlights display. When something turns red, it is blown. Turn down exposure compensation enough to handle the situation and then take the shot. The threshold can be set as you wish, for example, at 250, to give that extra bit of buffer.
