Sunset - Blending Technique (D600 + 16-35mm F4)

Hello All,

C&C are much needed and appreciated.

Here is a composite of three images I've taken yesterday.

I've tried HDR before, but failed to do it (either comes out flat, grainy, or just plain horrible). Yesterday I decided to use another technique which seemed both easier and provide better control over the process. I bracketed three shots, used lightroom to adjust each. One for the sky, another for the foreground, and one middle. Then in Photoshop I placed them as layers and used the brush to bring out each one of them. I was looking for dramatic look that could resemble what I had witnessed. It was really awesome sunset.

Again, your c&c will be much appreciated, I am still taking my first steps in photography not to mentioned post-processing.

Cheers all,

Rockingham, West Australia
