I've been busy moving to a new area and then with family medical issues for the past year or so and haven't been here much. Things appear to be settling down somewhat so I'm hoping to visit more. I have moved from Yukon to Vancouver Island following retirement and am enjoying the warmer weather and not having to be shoveling snow constantly.

I have a question. What is the current consensus on the SD1 M and DP M series when it comes to ISO up to 1600? I remember some discussion from all those months ago, but was wondering how things are now with the SPP updates etc.

My experience with higher ISOs is that the results are inconsistent. At ISO 800, I have had some useable colour photographs from the DP3M that printed well at A4, but I've also had even monochrome ones that didn't hold up well at the same ISO. However, although ISO 100 and 200 produce much better files than ISO 400, I've found that 400 works pretty well with some care.
