Birds in Trees rather than flight

Thanks Darren - I know what you mean about the noise and movement of the trees. Mine aren't nearly as colorful, but during late spring my trees around my house are inundated by grackles - thousands of them, enough to turn the trees black and the noise is deafening even inside the house with the windows closed!

One of these colorful birds in flight would be the holy grail shot for me - the buntings too fly very fast, rarely ever out in the open - they more often flit from tree to tree in deep forested areas - so catching one out in the open in flight would be like winning the lottery!

The tree at the corner from my house, just missed a mass of them flying around this tree

Every branch has a lorikeet

Grabbed these on the way home from work, taken with the A7 and my beloved Minolta MC Rokkor-X PG 50f1.4
