Agree. At wide angle the RX100 has brutal distortion that has to be corrected in the RAW development software. Depending on the degree to which it is corrected and cropped you will get more or less of the original image showing. Below is JPEG made from an uncorrected RAW image (RX100), and after it the corrected version. This is just a piece of graph paper lying on the table. You can see lots of the table in the uncorrected image. You do not see that in the viewfinder as it is corrected too.
