I don't like giving false hopes.

But probably the problem is not the camera itself.

It should be tropicalized. This should give you some hopes to recover it.

Which lens did you have on? There were traces of water in the chamber?

Probably the issue is the battery, not the camera itself.

I've taken huge waves of salty water on my D800 without any problem.

Just dry it with a clothe, clean up the lenses immediately to remove salt traces.

I've used a clean wet brush to clean the body after while to remove any salt trace on it.
