Changing the Photo Number on your Panasonic (and Olympus?) Cameras

Whilst I love my Panasonic Cameras . I always struggled with the fact that the image numbers on each camera where in fact the same. This could of course lead to confusion and Aperture actually uses the image number to check for duplicates!

As a result I have written a small utility for Windows, Mac and Linux which allows you to change the next photo number.

I use it like this….

My GX-1 Image numbers starts with a 1 (P1000001.JPG), The GH-3 with a 3 - P3000001, and the GX-7 with a 7 (P7000001.JPG).

This is made possible by the simple utility I have written.

The utility is FREE of Charge from my Facebook Page. Full instructions on it's use are on application itself.

I haven't tried it on Olympus Cameras but happy to add this functionality if Olympus work in the same or a similar way and someone is able to test it.

Cheers

Stu
