I would stay with just the, 12-40.  But, you need a backup lens (or, camera) in case of an emergency.  So, I'd pack the Pan 20mm.  It's the primary lens that I now use, and it's wonderful for my likes.

Not long ago, someone posted a link to a motorcycle journal forum, where the author trekked through central Asia with only his camera being a, Fuji x100s.  One focal length (35mm), but the photos taken covered a wide gamut of shots.  The photos were spectacular!

Or, your E-M5 and an, LX7. That's all!
