But a Sony RX1 is pretty close in size/weight. In APS-C & with EVF, a Sony A6000+35mm f/1.8 is also close (344+154) but you get image stabilization. You can shave a little by using the Sigma 30mm f/2.8.

The Sony RX1 is fixed lens so it's not a valid comparison.  The A6000 looks like a real threat to the Nikon 1 system (excellent AF, larger sensor and nearly equivalent weight with non-telephoto lenses).  For now, though, I have more faith in Nikon to stick with the Nikon 1 system than Sony to stick with the Alpha NEX mount.
