FWIW evidence suggests that chromatic aberrations are corrected via software in-camera, rather than through lens optics. Of course unlike many other manufacturers Fuji baked that correction into the RAW files as well as JPG, so the difference almost doesn't matter since we never see the fringing while using the cameras
