just some notes of caution about this lens

Just a note of caution for potential buyers.

On my Nikon D7100, and on a D7000 & D3200 i tested it so far exhibits an OS bug :

OS is constantly activated. The OS switch has no effect (function). This comes with a series of side-effects : Battery drain, possible tripod use issues, image playback scroll is hindered, image preview auto-off is hindered, possible sharpness issues from unwanted stabilization with high shutter speeds, etc

Also HSM is not full HSM: you have to switch to M in order to unlock the focus ring for manual focus (no full-time Manual Focus override)

Those are widely reported across the web from both Canon and Nikon owners of contemporary bodies.
