Nobody uses a V1 because it's the same as a D610. People use a V1 because it's different in some way that appeals to them.

Yes, but some people expect miracles to happen and believe that smaller cameras can perform just the same as larger ones and also expect smaller lenses to be equal performers and be lighter and cheaper.
