Costco provides profiles from Dry Creek to use with some of their printers.

So did the local professional printing service near me, my inkjet prints blow them away. A canned profile (from dry creek or whoever) is -not- even close to the same as a custom profile made from the unique printer being used. I tried dry creeks and ilfords when playing around with different papers when I first started printing at home. I found the paper finish I liked, had a custom profile made and the difference was night and day.

And all these "supplied profiles" do for the person editing the file to be printed elsewhere is provide something to soft proof with. It's not like you convert the file to be printed to this color space, you know you aren't supposed to do that right? Also almost ever service like this is setup to print from sRGB files while most of the newer inkjets can handle aRGB.
