Manual focussing on Canon 60D
I have a Canon 60D and it's fantastic. I am looking into purchasing a Zeiss Planar T 50mm f/1.4 lens. This lens is apparently amazing, but it's only manual focus. Now I considered buying this lens about 6 months ago, and did some research but decided on a different lens. I did some research and I vaguely remember reading about a good way of manual focussing using the cameras focus points. So I think you can move the focus ring around, and it'll beep and go red on the focus point you selected when the camera thinks it's in focus. Unfortunately I can't remember where I found this information, and I don't know how true it is or if I'm just imagining such a thing. I would appreciate any help regarding this, either letting me know how to use this feature or letting me know of any other alternatives to help focus manually. Also, I know about live view manual focussing but that takes too long for me.
Sorry for the vagueness of this discussion, but I'm sure you guys will be able to help me out.
Thanks in advance,
