D5300 and Yongnuo YN468-II advice.
Hi I bought a new Yongnuo YN468-II for my Nikon D5300.
Its definitely the Nikon version of the flash.
The thing is that the flash doesn't seem to be adjusting in TTL mode.
If I set the camera to auto and press to take a photo the builtin flash pops up and hits the bottom of the hotshoe flash and the hotshoe flash fires. But the flash is firing way too strong and drowning everything in light.
If I set to a manual mode the flash doesn't pop up but the Yongnuo YN468-II still fires too bright.
With an 18-50 lens on when I zoom the lens in an out should values change on the display of flash.
It just stays on 35mm for Zoom on the display, no mention of ISO or no noise from flash as it adjusts for zoom etc...
Is there a way to see that the camera detects the flash OK in the camera display.
Any help appreciated...
