Hi Charles,

The only haloing I see is around the metal fixtures on top of the roof, which I think is to be expected. There is snow on the right-hand edge of the barn, lit by sunlight, which, in this reduced size and with JPG compression, could look like haloing.

The foliage to the viewer's right of the barn has halos, too (viewed at posted original size).

The halos are a symptom, not the main issue of oversharpening. I think the field in the center of the frame looks brittle because of sharpening. If you study shots from a Sigma Merrill camera, you see the difference between very high resolution and sharpening.

As mentioned, a reduction of sharpening where it is applied (camera on JPG or in PP) is possible. You might like the result or maybe not.

I tried less sharpening and prefer it the way it was here.  At full resolution, the sharpening I applied brings out more real detail, which I very much like.
