What I like is to have aperture ring on the lens, shutter speed on top deck and if possible ISO dial on top deck as well.

Because I like to look at my setup without turning on the camera and eventually change it with camera off as well.

People can call it retro style, old style, film camera style, has been style, whatever. I call it good ergonomics.

I will not buy a camera anymore with a PSAM dial and no aperture ring, period.

I applaud Fuji and Nikon (Df) and I am sure other will follow soon. Most of them will follow that trend to satisfy the "new old look", until they realize their customers start to like having direct access to basic parameters.

This is what kept me from buying the Panasonic GX7 and decide to go with Fuji. Although I don't mind the lack of aperture control on my Ricoh GR (it is a fixed lens, small camera), I want these things in a system.
