Five candid portraits from a ski hut trip - GX7
Last week I joined 19 friends and acquaintances for a backcountry ski trip to Janet's Cabin in the Colorado Rockies for two nights. In the Colorado hut system, this is a relatively easy hut to get to, about 4 miles and 1,200 feet of elevation gain to the hut at 11,600 feet, but you still want to watch how much weight you put in your backpack.
Here are five candid portraits I shot while up there. C&C welcome, but my point is mainly that my former dSLR gear would have been too heavy, while my compact camera wouldn't have given as good results. Like Goldilocks, I find that MFT is just right!
