Is there a basic/standard setup for a SD1 M ?

As I already told, I'm back to Sigma and its unsurpassed colour rendition and Foveon sensor, my last camera had been an SD15, after a SD14, after...

In the past, there was always a highly discussed recommended "basic setup" for a SD camera, not at last in order to overcome the one or the other weakness, or some "trick" to do so. I remember for my SD15 that is was a good idea to set the exposure compensation always to -0.7 in order to avoid highlight clipping, to set the colour mode to "standard" and so on (naturally always working in RAW mode). The normal ISO setup was not 100 but 200 if I'm right, because of a small yield of dynamic range without any more noise.

Question:

What do you recommend as or may be "standard" in setting up one's SD1 M ?

ISO
colour mode
expo compensation
...

Thanks for help!
Johannes
