What is the best value in a battery for the SD1?

I have a Sigma SD14, but I'm going to be getting an SD1. They both use the same batteries, so I'm going to get a couple of new batteries now. I have a couple of old Chinese garbage brand batteries, and they don't work very well. They don't last long, and the SD14 does weird stuff when they start to get low on power. I don't think I want to get any of those $12 specials from China, even though they claim to be 1,750 mAh batteries, vs. the 1,500 mAh of my Sigma battery. A friend of mine told me to stay away from the aftermarket batteries, and by my own experience I tend to agree with his sentiment. I was considering a new Sigma battery, but they are so expensive at B&H that I decided to look around for other options. I found a much cheaper Pentax battery, also made in Japan, like the Sigma battery. It's supposedly 1,620 mAh and has gold contacts, like my Sigma battery. Has anyone used this battery with an SD14, SD15, or SD1 or any other good alternative to the Sigma batteries?
