I agree with bluelemmy.  I've been using Elements for some time (mostly jpeg corrections) and find it quite powerful yet inexpensive.  Since I'm doing more raw I've recently been learning Lightroom 5.  Online tutorials are definitely helpful since there are tons of short cut keys etc.. that are wonderful to use once you know about them.  A better clone tool would be nice but Elements cloning is easy and works well.
