1/100 or 1/125 should work. I don't think you need to go all the way up to 1/200, specially since you might be under exposing. Just see how it works out. You might also try local or zone AF. If you leave it on wide area AF the camera might not focus on you want it to. Every time you shoot you'll gain a little experience. Just keep building on your experience and you'll get better at knowing what to do in different situations and work within your cameras limitations. The greatest limitation is skill which will improve over time with experience.
