Perhaps what you are seing is not aliasing..
Aliasing in any case is due to subsampling in digital sistems. Let it be spatial resolution on frcuency bandwith. and OVF is an optical. Analog system.. so no aliasisng here.
Microprism were used to show when you were in focus in a circle arround the split screen... and I think actual DSLR doesn't have any micro prisms..
If using live view to focus on a striped patern aliasing will show as moire.
I think 'just maybe you see some kind of refeigency. (?).
Can you take a picture of the OVF, with another camera when this phenomen hapens?

Sorry, I am not native and "refeigency" is not in any of my dictionaries. Even uncle Google doesn't seem to know. Can you explain?

As for the picture, I was thinking about it, but the camera that can focus that close to take a pic of the OVF has to go to the service shop. Maybe when it comes back.

I'not native english speaking either. .
So I may misspell something. I'n sorry..
refringence is tha habitity to cause refraction.
So I suspect is something related to difraction.
