It's easy to overexpose using TAv in bright light as the ISO cannot get to less than 100. The camera uses the same hardware and algorithms to assess exposure whatever the mode dial is set to. If you have TAv mode set on a cloudy day and the camersa is selecting ISO200 for a correct exposure - then the sun comes out and it is suddenly two stops brighter - you will end up overexposed by a stop as ISO50 is not available. THere will be a warning light flashing somewhere but it is easy to miss.

This was part of the OP's problem, along with the cross-processing.

Just to cross the i's

one tav image exposure reduce by one stop, (can't recover the lost detail)

I think clearly shows the lurid colours are more because of Over exposure than the filter applied.

Best wishes

And though I'm sure most are aware this line in the exif data

Custom Rendered = custom process (1)

Tells that a custom filter was applied...........

Indicating  special processing on the image data.

When special processing is performed, you are expected to disable or minimize any further processing.

The specification defines these values:

0 = Normal process
1 = Custom process
