The Governor's Palace, Merida, Yucatan

The Governor's Palace is a historical landmark and the walls of the atrium hallways are lined with murals, primarily telling a story of the enslavement and liberation of the Mayan people. The halls weren't wide enough to avoid severe perspective distortion in the mural photos, so perspective correction was done in PP. Consequently, after cropping, only part of each mural is depicted.

I wanted to spend much more time in this building, but, as usual, "keeping up with the family" limited my time in this interesting historical site.
