Alternative to Photoshop for HiDPI screen
I recently got a new Dell XPS 15 laptop with a 3,200 by 1,800 resolution screen. I mainly use Lightroom 5 for making small edits to my photos, but I also use Photoshop CC from time to time when I need to do a bit more work on an image. As many of you know Photoshop doesn't scale well on a HiDPI screen, everything is tiny, even if you change the resolution of the screen, and I just can't use it, my eyes get really sore after about 10 minutes.
I'm now looking to see if anyone has tried any other applications, I'm mainly looking at the free alternative as I've already paid for Photoshop and want to have to pay again (I'm hoping they bring out a patch soon). I was think GIMP might be my best bet looking at the reviews, has anyone tried that on a laptop with a HiDPI screen?
