Pentax 645 - what a pity.

Just about 4 years ago - such a beautiful piece of work. So well in advance of what was available at that time. But so very expensive that it was accessible to a very few. Just when the majority of serious photographers were most interested in the FF – or 24x36 format – as they are even more so now. With the plethora of fine Pentax lenses that have been produced for that format and would have been put to such good use – as they would also be today. Now that the other major companies are passing over to FF, it is the very last opportunity for Pentax (Ricoh) to take that step. Otherwise….
